As job titles go, “Internet Marketer” doesn’t really explain much about what I do so let me give you a run-down.

 

I build websites and try and help people by giving them useful information

I talk about the products and services I use in my business or in my hobbies

When people buy some of the products I recommend – I make money.

 

That’s it!

People worry that making money online is a scam or too complicated to understand. Let me tell you how you might already have the skills needed to make money online…

We can’t all be experts at everything, it takes time to learn the skills necessary and avoid the worst mistakes.

For example, I didn’t learn to drive until I was in my 30s. I didn’t know anything about cars or driving so I asked a friend of mine that has been driving since he was 16 for some advice.

He helped me out and told me what to look out for when buying a car and where I should go to get lessons. Most importantly he told me what to avoid.

I bet you’ve got a friend that you’d go to in the same situation. We all know who we’d ask about cooking, or computers or whatever else we need help with.

 

What I do online is really similar to what my friend did in real life.

Give some helpful information and point someone in the right direction. The only difference is that I get paid for doing it!

 

I’m not a millionaire, I’m not rich by any means but I have made money online just by working at my computer in the “home office” ( spare bedroom )

I started a blog a few years ago and posted on it every now and then. I began reading about affiliate marketing and how to make money online but never really “bit the bullet” and tried to do it full time.
One day I spent 30 minutes writing about a product that I really liked. I talked about how it helped me and why I thought it was better than some of the other options.

I expected a few people to read it – But it quickly became the most popular post on my site!

I started getting comments and emails from people thanking me for the information and asking for more advice.

I was gobsmacked, they were searching on google to try and find information on the product I used and my 30 minute webpage was giving them exactly what they wanted.

But here’s where I made my biggest mistake, I didn’t even try and replicate this success.

Over the lifetime of that post it’s generated literally thousands of dollars for me. I got complacent and just sat back while the money continued to pour in, every month directly to my paypal account. I still had my day job and getting extra cash on the side was just an added bonus.

In June of this year I lost my job and decided that I had ignored opportunity for too long.

I’m now self-employed and I’m going to build up my online business so that I never have to work for anyone else again. I’m going to take the small payments that are coming in at the moment and multiply them into an online business that has enough momentum to keep earning money for years to come.

I can work from anywhere in the world that has an internet connection (yes, even the spare bedroom ). Even when I go on holiday there are still payments coming in from webpages that I built months, even years before.

I know from experience that making money online is possible and I want to show you that it’s possible.

There’s lots of sites telling you how to do some of the technical things like building a website
There’s lots of sites telling you that if you buy a certain product it’ll make millions for you overnight.

There doesn’t seem to be anyone showing what they actually do, day to day, to make money online.
